No matter what I do, the words I say, the crimes I commit, you will never remember who I am. That makes my life difficult. It also makes me dangerous. The Sudden Appearance of Hope is a riveting and heartbreaking exploration of identity and existence, about a forgotten girl whose story will stay with you forever.
By: Claire North. Organized as a travel guide for the time-hopping tourist, The Time-Traveler's Guide to Elizabethan England is an entertaining popular history with a twist. Historian Ian Mortimer reveals in delightful and occasionally disturbing detail how the streets and homes of 16th century looked, sounded, and smelled for both peasants and for royals; what people wore and ate; how they were punished for crimes and treated for diseases; and the complex and contradictory Elizabethan attitudes toward violence, class, sex, and religion.

Calling on her own gift she's telekinetic , her sister Jess' ability to dream the future, and their fellow Fairlie Mattie Weaver's unexplained ability to read minds through physical contact, the three gifted girls must navigate treachery, deception, and the stubborn, unwilling parents of the missing Keepers if they're to save their friends.
In the early days of the Civil War, rumors of gold in the frozen Klondike brought hordes of newcomers to the Pacific Northwest.

This gripping high-tech tale will thrill every kid who has ever dreamed of sneaking into Walt Disney World after hours and wondered what happens at night, when the park is closed. Would you consider the audio edition of The Kingdom Keepers to be better than the print version? I think I'll just stick with the audio because braille, my version of print, is crazy expensive. So yes, I'd say it's much better. What was one of the most memorable moments of The Kingdom Keepers?
Learning who the Overtakers were. They were exactly who I'd hoped they'd be, btw. Which character — as performed by Gary Littman — was your favorite? Main protagonist's creepy and very familiar sounding teacher. Not quite finished with the first book, but I have my suspicions about this guy. The narrator sounds like Jonathan Freeman when he does this guy's voice, so that's all I know for now.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be? They may have all failed going solo, but this time, their joining forces. Any additional comments? Brilliance Audio never disappoints. I haven't stumbled across the first book in a series that's captivated me this much since Harry Potter book 1 some years ago. You hit the ground running from page one, so to speak, and it's one massively exciting onslaught of familiar Disney heroes and villains from start to finish.
I'm glad I've got 6 credits left because I know where they're going. Thanks for making the entire series available, Audible. I've never gotten to visit Disney World, so this is the next best thing. The author really did his homework. Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why? Yes, interesting, but some disturbing scenes. Not for little Disney fans.
How could the performance have been better? The voice for the main character is poorly done. Next book was better. It's really cool in that it mentions real places. But I like the voice acting better in later books in the series. The inconsistencies in the characters She is NOT a witch! She's an evil fairy! The original story of Sleeping Beauty makes it clear the villain is a fairy. The Disney version makes it clear she's a fairy not a witch!
Beyond that there's inconsistencies with the original characters as well. I won't go into detail because I don't want to give anything away. I'm willing to suspend my belief.
